JOSEPH J. DARWAL, ESQ. is a member of the trial team at Obral, Silk & Pal, LLC.

Mr. Darwal fights for clients both at trial and out of the courtroom. Mr. Darwal represents clients with serious injuries in trucking, transportation, complex medical negligence, and nursing home neglect litigation.

Joseph was President of The University of Akron School of Law Trial Team Honor Society, won two Regional Championships, became a National Semi-Finalist, and ended as a National Champion. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Sanders J. Mestel Trial Advocacy Award by the University’s faculty.

Joseph still volunteer’s his time coaching the Trial Team Honor Society every semester. Mr. Darwal’s students have won numerous awards, including the 2021 Texas Young Lawyers Regional Championship. 

Before joining Obral, Silk & Pal, LLC, Joseph worked for a defense law firm in Cleveland, focusing on complex transportation litigation. Joseph defended trucks, buses, ambulances, and other commercial vehicles in multi-million-dollar civil suits and had a litigation management role for one of the largest trucking insurance companies in the country.

Mr. Darwal knows from the inside how insurance companies handle their claims from intake through settlement and eventually to trial.
