Scott M. Rosso is the Principal Attorney and founder of Rosso Legal, P.A., a firm dedicated to representing policyholders in First Party Property claims for homeowners and commercial properties, as well as handling Bodily Injury and Criminal Defense matters.

With over two decades of litigation experience, Mr. Rosso is a seasoned advocate committed to holding insurance companies accountable and securing fair compensation for his clients.

Mr. Rosso began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Broward County, Florida, where he prosecuted numerous felony and misdemeanor cases, gaining invaluable trial experience. Subsequently, he transitioned to insurance defense, where he specialized in home insurance losses, commercial property claims, premises liability, and automobile negligence, handling a wide range of complex civil litigation matters.

Before founding Rosso Legal, P.A., Mr. Rosso served as lead attorney for a prominent Plaintiff firm’s First Party Property Department, managing a team of attorneys, paralegals, and staff while successfully recovering millions for policyholders.

Recognized for his expertise, Mr. Rosso has been invited to lecture on legal matters for Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies nationwide. He has been honored as a “Rising Star” by Florida Lawyers Magazine and recognized as a “Top Lawyer” by the South Florida Legal Guide.

Originally from New York, Mr. Rosso moved to Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2001. Since then, he has devoted his career to fighting for individuals and businesses facing insurance claim denials, delays, and underpayments.
