$7.5M Settlement In Golf Cart Accident For Death Of Autistic 15-year-old
This golf cart accident did not happen at a golf course but at a school where the 15-year-old Manny Perez attended special education classes.
The golf cart was used by school employees, yet Manny Perez, who was autistic, was able to get on the golf cart, start it, and operate it. Unfortunately, he crashed the golf cart causing his death.
Manny’s mother Micaela Sanchez CoronA lawsuit was filed against the Orange Unified School District in California by Attorney Robert Glassman, Esq.
The school district agreed to pay a $7.5M settlement to improve golf cart safety and remove older dangerous golf carts.
